On October 30th, 2020, Pinnacle Solutions, Inc. (Pinnacle) was awarded follow-on task orders supporting Fort Huachuca Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Instruction and Mission Support (IMS) contract. These are new, combined, cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price task orders that support the $533M UAS IMS contract awarded to Pinnacle in March 2019 by the Army Contracting Command, Orlando, FL.

Under these task orders, Pinnacle and our Textron and AOC Global teammate employees, supported by our fully staffed Sierra Vista, Arizona-based Program Management Office, provide the flight and maintenance training and operational maintenance, logistics, and information technology (IT) support for the UAS training programs at Huachuca. The training programs are the cornerstone of creating U.S. Army operators and maintainers for unmanned systems. There are two customers on this contract, one per each task order: the 2/13th Aviation Regiment (Avn Regt), 1st Aviation Brigade, U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence, and the U.S. Army Aviation Center Logistics Command (ACLC). The estimated contract completion date is March 2026.

Under the Instructional Services Task Order 3, Pinnacle employees and teammates will provide instruction to U.S. Army Soldiers, Non-Commissioned Officer Instructors, and UAS Warrant Officers, as these personnel train to fly, maintain, instruct and/or integrate RQ-7 Shadow and MQ-1 Gray Eagle UAS to support the full spectrum of current U.S. Army operations. The support personnel on Task Order 3 will provide the essential logistics, and IT functions for the students and cadre of the 2/13th Avn Regt.

For Maintenance Services Task Order 4, Pinnacle logisticians and UAS maintainers will sustain the readiness of the U.S. Army’s training fleet of UAS aircraft and system components while providing flight line crew support for the students and instructors of the 2/13th Avn Regt from multiple flight locations. Additionally, IT network support activities for ACLC under the contract emphasize integration and administration of aviation maintenance and logistics software applications, as well as hardware installation/technology integration into existing procedures and systems.
