Pinnacle Solutions, Inc. (Pinnacle) was awarded the Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) development effort for Digital Marine Engineering Training Systems (DMETS) under the Computer Based Instructional Design II (CBID II) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract managed by the U.S. Army’s Program Executive Office Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI).

Under this delivery order, Pinnacle will provide Training System Support (TSS) and IMI for the U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM), and Logistics Material Readiness Directorate (LMRD). The TSS will consist of developing, installing, and integrating Automated Electronic Classrooms (AECs) for the Maintenance Support Device (MSD) and Electronic Sensor training areas. The IMI will focus on a variety of engine routine diagnostic, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks in five phases.

For the next two years, Pinnacle’s Huntsville-based team of talented instructional designers and engineers will work closely with its customers to satisfy their requirement for the development of approximately 30 hours of IMI and installing two new customized electronic classrooms at Ft. Eustis, Virginia. The development team will utilize commercial gaming solutions, with Pinnacle-developed libraries and Application Programming Interfaces, which provide the development environment to satisfy any learning objective on any user interface of the customer’s choice.
