The Nova Technologies-Pinnacle Solutions team was awarded the US Air Force KC-10 Training Systems (KC-10 TS) task order under the Training Systems Acquisition III (TSA III) multi-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract.

Both Nova Technologies, as the prime contractor, and Pinnacle Solutions as their only subcontractor, are excited to join forces to continue to provide excellent services under the KC-10 TS task order. Valued at an estimated $118M, the program is to be contracted through the end of fiscal year 2028, including option years.

The KC-10 TS, an Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) training program, trains KC-10 refueling tanker aircrews on how to operate and maintain the aircraft. This program provides aircrew and maintenance personnel with thorough training, concurrent with the aircraft’s functionality.

During the task order period of performance, the USAF plans to divest itself of the KC-10 training system, as the number of KC-10 aircraft operated by the USAF is reduced as part of the platform’s retirement.  This divestiture includes a reduction of aircrew throughput and simulator relocation, disposal, or transfer as the US Air Force transitions to KC-46As. Currently, the KC-10 TS users are represented by Air Mobility Command (AMC), Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), and potential international students.
