The Virtual Maintenance Trainer (VMT) is a sophisticated, computer-based training device that may be used for aircraft systems, subsystems, and component familiarization as well as fault identification, isolation, and remediation. The VMT makes use of a high-fidelity virtual model of an aircraft or vehicle to deliver comprehensive qualification training to new maintainers or sustainment training to experienced users.

  • Currently available and already fielded Initial Operational Capability (IOC) C-208B VMT includes a total of 25 lessons supporting introductions, inspections, and servicing

  • The development plan estimate for Full Operational Capability (FOC) C-208B VMT will add 64 Lessons that will support the introduction, servicing, removal, installation, and inspection tasks that students must be able to complete in accordance with the applicable technical manuals. The FOC date is set to May 31st, 2021

  • Our C-208B Subject Matter Expert (SME) selected the most relevant introductory, general maintenance, and emergency procedures using OEM issued technical manuals
