On April 1, 2017, Pinnacle added Airfield Operations to our list of growing capabilities, when we assumed Assistant Airfield Manager and Control Tower Operator responsibilities on our NASA Aircraft Maintenance and Operations Contract (AMOC) at Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia.  The management of this airfield is quite a milestone, as it is the only NASA-owned and operated airfield in the world.  In conjunction with standard daily operations, the Pinnacle’s Airfield Operations team will support special activities throughout the year, such as providing a base of operations for the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and other military performers at the Ocean City, MD Airshow; water ingestion testing for Gulfstream; and U.S. Navy Field Carrier Landing Practice (FCLP).  Pinnacle is also looking forward to adding fueling activities to our list of management duties at Wallops.  This is a new and very exciting venture for Pinnacle and the NASA AMOC team and we are excited to add a new group of highly trained professionals to the Pinnacle family!
