Pinnacle’s UH-60 Virtual Maintenance Trainer continues to gain traction and attention both in the US and abroad.
On June 18th, Jeremy Heerdink met with the leadership of a Slovak commercial firm that is one of the main providers of aircraft maintenance to the Slovak Government. The Slovak Air Force has been operating UH-60Ms since 2016 and is expected to get additional four aircraft by the end of the calendar year 2019. The US Government support will be very limited after the final delivery of these four aircraft and the Slovak Government is looking for reliable partners for the support of their UH-60M fleet. Such support would include training of aircraft maintainers and our VMT was offered to the Slovak counterparts. From previous meetings, the Slovak Maintenance Training Courses would be tailored to the customers’ needs with the VMT being an integral part of the curricula. More to follow once Jeremy returns from his travels.
On June 28th, Mike Durant, Tina Tucker, Theron Davis and Gary Bailey visited the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB) at Ft. Campbell, KY for a VMT Demo requested by Brigadier General Shawley, Commanding General, Army Reserve Aviation Command, Fort Knox, KY and the CAB leadership. Mike’s introduction of the VMT on several slides was followed by a demo carried out by Gary and a Question and Answer session. A total of 10 senior officers from Headquarters 101st CAB, 90th and 96th subordinate battalions, 2-17 Cavalry Squadron, and two civilian officials from the Army Reserve Aviation Command spent several hours with our team learning in more detail about the VMT. Our team was well prepared, and no question caught them by surprise.
