On Thursday, January 24, Pinnacle Headquarters hosted government teams from PEO STRI, MSCOE, and PM MRAP VS, for a kick-off meeting for the next CBID II Delivery Order (DO). This DO includes the development of 55 hours of Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) of refresher training for the M1270 Medium Mine Protected Vehicle (MMPV) Type II and its associated systems. The MMPV is a blast protected, wheeled vehicle platform that operates in explosive hazardous environments.
This IMI development project will take a three-phased approach with Phase 1 (27 hours of IMI) covering the M1270 MMPV vehicle and safety, Phase 2 (12 hours of IMI) covering vehicle ancillary systems, and Phase 3 (16 hours of IMI) covering the vehicle’s Multifunction Video Display (MVD). This DO has an 18-month Period of Performance and Final Instructional Media Package (IMP) Delivery will take place in July 2020.
