As a Best-in-Class contract, VETS 2 is designated by the Office of Management and Budget as a preferred government-wide solution. It is designed to meet a variety of diverse agency IT requirements, including new and emerging technologies. VETS2 allows for long-term planning of large-scale program requirements and use of multiple contract types – fixed-price, cost-reimbursement, labor-hour, and time-and-materials task order types. Besides the ceiling of $5 Billion and a period of performance from through February 22, 2023 (with one five-year option from February 23, 2023 to February 22, 2028), VETS 2 has the same low fee of .75% same as GSA Schedules.
