Mike Durant

Mike Durant

President and CEO

Mike Durant is the Pinnacle President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Durant oversees all aspects of the company, including development of company mission and purpose, ensuring adequate resources and effective management, providing fiscal accountability and budget approval, and establishing strategic plans, goals, and objectives. Mr. Durant is a New York Times best-selling author of In the Company of Heroes and The Night Stalkers. He was the pilot of Black Hawk helicopter Super Six Four that was shot down during the Battle of Mogadishu, Somalia in 1993. Mr. Durant was held captive for 11 days, and his story was portrayed in the Academy Award winning movie, “Black Hawk Down”. He retired from the Army in 2001 as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 Blackhawk helicopter Master Aviator in the 160th SOAR after participating in combat operations Prime Chance, Just Cause, Desert Storm, and Gothic Serpent. In 2008, he was inducted into the Army Aviation Hall of Fame. In 2013, Mr. Durant was named Vetrepreneur of the Year. He has received the Distinguished Service Medal, Distinguished Flying Cross with Oak Leaf Cluster, Bronze Star with Valor Device, Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal, the POW/MIA ribbon, and numerous other military awards. Mr. Durant received an M.B.A. in Aviation and a B.S. in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Vice President – Services

In his role as the Vice President of Pinnacle’s Services division, Mr. Tucker is responsible for the strategic growth and operations of the division’s two business areas: Training and Support Programs and Aircraft Maintenance and Operations Programs. In support of these responsibilities, he provides executive direction to multidisciplinary teams and represented work forces comprised of program managers, aircrew, maintainers, engineers, logisticians, and financial professionals. These teams are currently located on three continents and eight states and support customers that include PEO STRI, NASA, the USAF (including AFSOC), the US Army 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), and the US Army Security Assistance Training Management Organization (SATMO). The employees that make up this business area have backgrounds, skill sets, and experience as Instructor Pilots, Instrument Examiners, Maintenance Test Pilots, Maintenance Examiners, Flight Engineers, Boom Operators, Aircraft Mechanics, Simulator Technicians, Accountants, Cost Estimators, and Financial/Business Professionals. Prior to joining Pinnacle as a Program Manager in 2011, Mr. Tucker served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps, primarily as an AH-1W Cobra pilot. In addition to two combat tours in Iraq in the AH-1W, he served four years at Marine Helicopter Squadron 1 (HMX-1) as a Presidential Helicopter pilot and as the Officer in Charge of Marine Aviation Training System Site Camp Pendleton where he managed five training facilities and the scheduling and maintenance of eight H-1 and CH-46E simulators, including the first production AH-1Z and UH-1Y simulators. Mr. Tucker received an M.B.A. (Finance) from Florida Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Mathematics from Purdue University. He has also been awarded his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

Vice President – Engineering and Development

Tina Tucker is the Vice President of Engineering and Development at Pinnacle Solutions, Inc. In her role, Mrs. Tucker is responsible for strategic growth and operations of the division’s three business areas – Integrated Product Support, Virtual and Web-Based Programs, and Simulator Programs. She provides executive direction to the three highly technical development teams located at Pinnacle’s corporate headquarters, as well as offices in Lexington, KY and Warren, MI. The scope of work for these teams includes training system development and modification, virtual interactive environments, web-based applications, logistics support, graphics and illustration development, and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs). She is responsible for developing new work, generating/obtaining quotes, and managing/providing full-scale proposal support; sustaining current programs in her division; approving, managing, and allocating resources across multiple programs; and establishing and reviewing program budgets. After starting her career with Rockwell Collins STS as a Software Engineer in 2005, she began working at Pinnacle in 2008 and now has over thirteen years of technical and software development experience working with aviation training systems, with five years of project, program, and executive level management experience for training systems and simulations. Mrs. Tucker received her Masters of Science in Project Management from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Austin Peay State University.

Dennis Mix

Dennis Mix

Chief Financial Officer

Dennis Mix is Pinnacle’s Chief Financial Officer. His primary responsibility is to oversee internal and external financial reporting, forecasting and accounting systems to ensures the integrity of financial records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Mr. Mix is well versed in establishing account functions, systems best practices, and automation strategies to streamline accounting functions and drive cost savings through robust use of company preferred ERP. Mr. Mix earned an M.B.A (Finance) from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from Athens University. Prior to earning his degree Mr. Mix served in the US Army as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the U.S Army Chemical Activity, Pacific (USACAP) at Johnston Atoll Chemical Agent Disposal System (JACADS).

Terri J. Rushing

Vice President of Contracts

Terri Rushing is Pinnacle Solutions Vice President of Contracts. As the Vice President of Contracts, she is responsible for developing corporate policy, providing guidance and oversite to staff on contractual issues, negotiating terms and conditions which are compliant with corporate and regulatory requirements, serving as corporate liaison to customers on contractual issues, and providing proposal support. Mrs. Rushing also serves as the point of contact for Corporate Insurance. Mrs. Rushing has over 30 years of experience working in the Federal contracts arena including experience with DoD, NASA and many civil agencies. Her career includes additional skills in negotiation, acquisition & mergers, integration of workforces as well as contract novations & name changes. She is a member of the National Contract Management Association and earned her Masters Certificate in Procurement & Contract Management from the University of Virginia and her Masters of Business Administration from Strayer University. In 2010, Mrs. Rushing received the Huntsville NCMA Paula Cushman Membership Award.

Stacey Springer

Vice President of Human Resources

In her role as Vice President of Human Resources, Mrs. Springer is responsible for providing executive direction to her team and customer services to internal and external Pinnacle customers. She and her team provide full spectrum HR support to include recruiting and onboarding, employee relations and morale initiatives, union negotiations and relations, compliance, training, benefits administration, and compensation decisions. Prior to joining Pinnacle 2017, Mrs. Springer spent over 13 years in Human Resources with large Department of Defense Contractor organizations. Mrs. Springer holds an MBA and BBA in Human Resources. She also holds a Professional Human Resources Certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute.

Arthur J. Overman

Arthur J. Overman

Director of Quality

Arthur Overman is Pinnacle Solution’s Director of Quality. In his role, Mr. Overman is responsible for all aspects of process and product quality. He develops and maintains processes and procedures to assure corporate compliance to AS9100, ISO 9001, and CMMI Level 3 certifications. He provides direction and assistance for hardware and software product testing to ensure that quality products are delivered on-time. Mr. Overman has 30 years of experience with computer related design, development, project management and quality assurance. He has designed and developed rack mounted computers and printed circuit boards, served as project manager for an enterprise level software solution and performed both hardware and software quality assurance supporting major corporations. Mr. Overman received an AAS in Computer Design and Drafting from Hinds Community College, Jackson, MS.

Vikki Boyett

Facility Security Officer/Property Manager

Vikki Boyett is Pinnacle Solution’s Facility Security Officer, Property Manager and Export Compliance Officer. As FSO, Mrs. Boyett manages all aspects of the National Industrial Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), maintains the Company Security Program, Safeguards classified material. She also manages and maintains all Corporate and Government Issued Property, and coordinates facility audits and inspections by DSS. In her role as Export Compliance Officer, she has the responsibility for implementation and enforcement of the Export Management and Compliance Program. Mrs. Boyett is certified in FSO Program Management. She is a member of NCMS, The Society of Industrial Security Professionals and SIA, Society for International Affairs. Mrs. Boyett received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Alabama.

Allen Robinson

Allen Robinson

Director (Acting), Training and Support Programs

Allen Robinson is the Director of Human Resources (HR) at Pinnacle Solutions, Inc. As the director of HR, Mr. Robinson develops corporate policy, provides guidance, and oversite of existing policies. Mr. Robinson is responsible for all aspects of company culture, Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiation, employee relations (Union and Non-union), benefits, recruitment, employee retention, company communications, and company ethics. Through these areas of focus, Mr. Robinson sets strategic initiatives and goals, while ensuring compliance with contract and federal requirements. Mr. Robinson holds over 12 years of HR and Acquisition experience in DoD, manufacturing, nonprofit, services industries, and other complex environments. Mr. Robinson is a current member of the National Society of Human Resource Management, and a former board member for the North Alabama Society of Human Resource Management. Mr. Robinson earned a B.B.A (Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior) from The University of Michigan-Flint.

Jeremy Heerdink

Program Manager

Jeremy Heerdink is a Program Manager and the lead for the Aircraft Modernization and Sales business area. Mr. Heerdink is a retired CW4 and Special Operations Aviator that has been on multiple combat tours and flown UH-60A/L’s and MH-47E/G’s as an Instructor and Maintenance pilot. Mr. Heerdink has worked for several fortune 500 companies in Logistics and Operations, to include Amazon as well as over 15 years of program and project management in the US Army. Mr. Heerdink received a B.S. in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Jason Terry

Chief Engineer, Virtual and Web-Based Programs

Jason Terry is the Chief Engineer of Virtual and Web-Based Programs for Pinnacle Solutions, Inc., where his primary focus is the development of virtual interactive environments used in simulation and training. Mr. Terry manages a small team of artists, engineers and instructional designers in order to create these virtual environments.Before starting a new career in software at Pinnacle, Jason managed a small, high-end woodworking shop for 13 years. Mr. Terry received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Athens State University and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech.

Todd Beales

Todd Beales

Program Manager, Virtual and Web-Based Programs

Todd Beales is a Program Manager responsible for the successful delivery of Interactive Multimedia Instruction, update and sustainment of web-based applications, and development of serious games for Pinnacle’s many customers. Mr. Beales manages a team of software engineers, 3-D Artists, Instructional Systems Designers, and Multimedia Designers creating modern, innovative solutions for customers. He is responsible for the successful completion of projects, personnel management, and making business decisions for his programs. The Virtual and Web-Based team’s products include the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Crash Investigation Laboratory, the UH-60 Virtual Maintenance Trainer, The Publications Tracking and Management System, and multiple e-learning solutions for various customers. Mr. Beales began as a Software Engineer at Pinnacle’s Huntsville branch in March of 2016 immediately after separating from the United States Air Force. He served 12 years in the Air Force as an officer and a C-130 Pilot. He was stationed in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, and most recently, Little Rock, Arkansas. He deployed four times in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq flying over 120 combat missions. He has led aircrews throughout Eastern and Western Europe, Africa, North America, and the Middle East. Mr. Beales received an M.B.A. from Colorado State University and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.

James Ohlman

James Ohlman

Project Engineer

James Ohlman is a Project Engineer for Pinnacle Solutions. As a TPM Mr. Ohlman is the technical lead for Pinnacle’s training system development and modification. He is responsible for developing estimates for new business opportunities, system architecture and design, test development and coordination, and subcontractor/vendor interface. He is also the primary point of contact between the development team and customer personnel. He oversees a team of engineers with wide ranging experience in the simulation field, including device modification, new device development and desktop and part-task trainers. Before coming to Pinnacle Mr. Ohlman was the Lead Engineer for the CLS support of the training devices at the 160th SOAR(A) at Ft. Campbell, KY. Mr. Ohlman received a B.S. in Computer Science from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN.
